Description

The fur texture of the Dark Velvet exudes luxury. The deep dark brown patches of hair on hide are embossed with an alligator print, and broken up in thirds with a stud in between them to continue the look of the hardware along the belt without taking away from the leather.

This belt uses a Veg-Tan leather which will age and patina beautifully, it will get more supple while conforming and bending to your unique waist.

Veg-Tan Leather

This belts upper and lining uses an Italian Veg-tan leather. Vegetable tanned leather is leather that is tanned using natural tannins from trees.

This labor intensive process means a breathable leather that absorbs your natural oil and truly lives. A bag that antiques and patina's uniquely to its owner. Small scratches and nicks are to be expected, but the result is a individually unique piece with a rich history.

Part of the patina is that the leather will slightly darken, this does not mean it's dirty and means its well nourished.

Product Care

To preserve the beauty of your product, we recommend following these guidelines for its care:

- Be careful not to scratch or rub your product against abrasive surfaces, especially the trim/edges.

- Protect your product from humidity and keep it away from direct sources of heat, such as radiators and the inside of cars in summer.

- When not in use, store the item in the dust bag provided with your purchase. Do not store in high temperatures, high humidity or unventilated areas.

- To clean the leather use a slightly damp cloth or saddle soap. Never use solvent.

- Avoid contact with hand cream, hand sanitizer, make-up and perfume.
